Magnetic resonance imaging

< 1 min read

For immediate diagnostic clarification of ligament (cruciate ligament rupture) and joint injuries, as well as spinal problems.

Open magnetic resonance imaging in the Sportclinic

This technique [MRI = magnetic resonance imaging or magnetic resonance imaging] uses strong magnetic fields to generate individual, closely spaced cross-sectional images of the region to be examined (unlike fluoroscopy by conventional X-rays). Depending on the physical composition of the tissue, the different structures return different signals, which are assembled into an image. Imaging is carried out without radiation exposure.

This allows operations to be planned and prepared in the best possible way and is the ideal complement to X-rays in preoperative diagnostics.
